By accessing or using CalenDare ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CalenDare regarding your use of the Service. Please read them carefully.

2. Description of Service

CalenDare is a scheduling application that helps users find optimal meeting times by:

• Integrating with Google Calendar to check availability
• Allowing users to set their scheduling preferences
• Facilitating meeting coordination between multiple participants
• Creating calendar events for confirmed meetings

The Service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time.

3. Eligibility

To use CalenDare, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age
• Have a valid Google account
• Have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

4. Your Account

4.1 Account Creation

You create an account by signing in with your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Google account credentials.

4.2 Account Security

You agree to:

• Keep your account credentials secure
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4.3 Account Information

You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated. We may suspend accounts with inaccurate or outdated information.

5. Acceptable Use

5.1 Permitted Uses

You may use CalenDare to:

• Schedule meetings with individuals who have consented to participate
• Manage your availability preferences
• Create and share scheduling links
• Integrate with your Google Calendar

5.2 Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Send unsolicited meeting invitations (spam)
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Reverse engineer or decompile the Service
• Use automated tools to access the Service without permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Collect other users' information without consent
• Use the Service to distribute malware or harmful content

5.3 Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who violates these Terms, including removing content, suspending accounts, and reporting to law enforcement.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Rights

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user content), is owned by CalenDare and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms.

6.3 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create (meeting titles, descriptions, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a license to use this content as necessary to provide the Service.

If you provide feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to compensate you.

CalenDare integrates with Google services. Your use of Google services through CalenDare is also subject to:

8. Disclaimers

8.1 "As Is" Service

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8.2 No Guarantee

We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will meet your specific requirements
• The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• Results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
• Any errors in the Service will be corrected

8.3 Calendar Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that availability information or scheduled meetings will always sync correctly with your calendar. You are responsible for verifying important meetings.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CALENDARE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Missed meetings or scheduling conflicts
• Damages arising from use or inability to use the Service
• Damages arising from third-party actions

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CalenDare, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you submit through the Service

11. Termination

11.1 Your Right to Terminate

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us.

11.2 Our Right to Terminate

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Conduct that we believe is harmful to other users or us
• Extended periods of inactivity
• Requests by law enforcement

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes:

• We will update the "Last updated" date
• We will notify you via in-app notification for material changes
• Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the new Terms

If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you should stop using the Service.
